Product Description
Using screw feed principles combined with precision time and pressure controls, the 794 Series system ensures consistent deposits while eliminating damage to particle-filled fluids. It is available with two motor types brush or brushless. The brushless motor is ideal for high speeds and high cycle rate microdot dispensing. The 794 Series also includes a sliding head/footed tip feature that maintains a consistent dispense gap when applying fluids to surfaces with irregular heights.
The 794-TC Series auger valve system is designed to make precise, repeatable deposits of thermal interface materials and other highly abrasive pastes. Its designed with a brush motor ideal for lines and stripes with dispense cycle rates up to 60 to 90 shots per minute. The valves tungsten carbide construction provides long valve life.
The 794 / 794-TC Series auger dispense valves can be supplied with solder paste or thermal compounds from prefilled syringe barrels or cartridges.

FAQ's of Auger Valve Nordson EFD 794:
Q: How do I clean the Nordson EFD 794 Auger Valve?
A: Cleaning is simple thanks to the removable auger and cartridge. Just disassemble these components, clean them with appropriate solvents for your fluid type, thoroughly dry, and reassemble to ensure optimal performance.
Q: What types of fluids can the 794 auger valve dispense?
A: The valve is compatible with a wide array of media, such as solder pastes, SMT adhesives, epoxies, greases, gels, and similar high-viscosity materials.
Q: When should I select a specific auger pitch size?
A: Choose the auger size-8, 16, 32, or 56 pitch-based on your desired dispense rate and the viscosity of the fluid. Finer pitches are generally better for lower flow rates and thicker fluids.
Q: Where can the 794 valve be mounted in my production process?
A: You can mount the valve on a bench for manual dispensing or integrate it into automated dispensing systems, depending on your operational requirements.
Q: What benefits does air-operated valve actuation provide?
A: Air actuation offers reliable, consistent response and fine control over dispense cycles-essential for achieving the repeatability required in electronics assembly and industrial applications.
Q: Which controllers are compatible with the Nordson EFD 794 Auger Valve?
A: The valve is designed to work seamlessly with Nordson EFD Valve Controllers, allowing for precise control and integration into existing dispensing setups.
Q: How does the auger-driven structure contribute to accurate dispensing?
A: The rotary auger mechanism ensures uniform material feed, minimizing dripping and reducing waste. This results in highly accurate, repeatable deposits for applications demanding strict quality control.
